About the Doctor

About Dr. Marwan Alhalalmeh

ENT specialist in Amman, providing expert care for adults and children at the Al-Wehdat and Marj Al-Hamam clinics.

Dr. Marwan Alhalalmeh is a specialist in ear, nose and throat (ENT) medicine and surgery, practising at two private clinics in Amman — Al-Wehdat and Marj Al-Hamam. He cares for adults and children across the full range of ENT concerns: sinus, nasal and allergy problems, ear and hearing conditions, throat and voice disorders, and pediatric ENT. He combines careful diagnosis with medical and surgical treatment chosen to fit each patient, and places importance on explaining the condition and the options clearly.

Training & experience

Dr. Marwan qualified in medicine and surgery from Misr University for Science and Technology in 2008. He began with an internship at the Royal Medical Services, then worked with the Ministry of Health, before completing higher specialty training in ear, nose and throat surgery and earning both the Jordanian Board and the Arab Board in Otolaryngology in 2016. He has also served as a clinical instructor at the Hashemite University Faculty of Medicine, and is a member of the Jordanian Society of Otorhinolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery. He now runs his own private practice in Amman — a background spanning both the medical and surgical sides of ENT, for patients ranging from young children to older adults.

Our approach to care

Every patient is different, so assessment comes first. Dr. Marwan takes the time to understand your symptoms and history, examines thoroughly — using nasal or ear endoscopy where it helps — and explains what he finds in plain language. Treatment begins with the least invasive option that fits the problem; surgery is recommended only when it is genuinely the right step, and what it involves is discussed beforehand so you can decide with confidence. Children are seen with extra patience, and consultations are offered in both Arabic and English so nothing is lost in translation. The goal is a clear plan you understand and feel comfortable with — and a clinic you can return to if questions come up.

What to expect at your visit

A first visit usually includes a discussion of your symptoms and medical history, followed by an examination of the ears, nose and throat. It helps to bring any previous reports, scans, or a list of current medications. When useful, a quick endoscopic look helps pinpoint the cause. You then receive a diagnosis, an explanation of the options, and a treatment plan — whether that is medication, in-clinic treatment, or a recommendation for a procedure — with time to ask questions. Follow-up is arranged where needed, and you are welcome to get in touch between visits if something is unclear.
